Representatives of Islamic countries have highly praised Kazakhstan’s development prospects. In particular, the President of Djibouti and the vice-president of Indonesia talked about the great future of Kazakhstan’s economy. Ismail Omar Guelleh and Boediono will take part in the World Islamic Economic Forum on June 8th in Astana. They attended a reception by President Nursultan Nazarbayev before this event.

Ismail Omar Guelleh, President of Djibouti:
- I wouldn’t expect this capital city was so impressive and so beautiful and especially very very clean. This is my first impression.

This was Mr. Boediono’s first visit to Kazakhstan as well.

Boediono, vice-president of Indonesia:
- I am very happy to be here and to be able to see with my own eyes Kazakhstan, Astana especially. And now, I am very impressed.

Cooperation between Kazakhstan and Indonesia has only started developing. However, the bilateral relations have a great future, according to Boediono.

Boediono, vice-president of Indonesia:
- In the past few years, we’ve observed that Kazakhstan has been playing an increasing role in the global and original forums in economic, political and security. And we see that Kazakhstan is going to play a very important role.

The Malaysian Prime Minister’s official visit to Kazakhstan continues as well. Najib Razak praised the results of yesterday’s talks with Nursultan Nazarbayev. The Prime Minister expressed hope that they will give a new boost to the Kazakh-Malaysian partnership.

Najib Razak, Malaysian Prime Minister:
- I think it’s for us to identify new and additional items hat we can create between our two countries. In fact, Kazakhstan is now well-known to Malaysia and vice versa. It means we have to do a lot more to understand our two markets much closer. The first step for us would be to promote the awareness.

Najib Razak believes that the World Islamic Economic Forum will be advantageous for Kazakhstan. It will help the country attract new investments.
