I can do it! As creation our ressources, no matter how many degreean talents we have, are still severely restricted. However keeping in mind that there is The ONE above who is the prossessor of all powers and resources and Who comes readily to the aid, gives tremendous strengths to abilities and strengths.
It wasn’t the money, real or imagined, that had turned his life around. It was his newfound sel-confidence, together with his trust and reliance in Allah Taala that gave him the power to achieve anything he went after.
It begins by firm belief in Allah Taala and then firm belief in yourself. If you say I can do it, then you surely will do it, with Allah Taal aid of course. And if your reliance in Allah Taala is true then He will surely give you that little boost that you so much need.
The story below of this! A business executive was deep in dept and could see no way out. Creditors were closing in on him. Suppliers were demanding payment. During his day, he ploughed himself behind his office desk, head in hands, wondering if anything could save his company from bankruptey.
During his many sleepless nights he often took solace from his prayer mat, begging and beseeching Allah Taala to come to his aid and him from his misery.
Then one day whilst trying to relieve his stress levels by taking a walk in the nearby park an old man suddenly appeared before him. “I can see that something is troubling you,” he said. After listening to the excutive’s woes, the old man said, “I believe I can help you.” He asked the man his name, wrote out a cheque, and pushed it into his hand saying, “Take this money. Meet me here exactly one year from today, and you can pay me back at that time.” Then he turned and disappeared as quicly as he had come .
The business excutive saw in his hand a cheque for 1 million rand’s signed by John D. Rockefeller, then one of the richest men in the world! “I can erase my money worries in an instant!” he realize. But instead, the excutive decided to put the un-cashed cheque in his safe. Just knowing it was there might give him the strength to work out a way to save his business, he thought.
With renenewed optimism, he negotiated better deals and extended terms of payment. He closed several big sales. Within a few months, he was out of dept and making money once again.
Exactly one year later, he returned to the park with the un-cashed cheque. At the agree upon times, the old man appeared. But just as the excutive was about to hand back the cheque and share his success story story, a nurse came running up and grabbed the old man.
“I’m so glad I caught him!” she cried. “I hope he hasn’t been bothering you. He’s always escaping from the rest home and telling people he’s John D.
Rockefeller.”
“And she led the old man away by the arm. The astonished executive just stood there, stunned. All year long he had been wheeling and dealing, buying and selling, convinced he had a million rands behind him.
Suddenly, he realized that it wasn’t the money, real or imagined, that had turned his life arround.
It was his newfound selfconfidence, together with trust and reliance in Allah Taala that gave him the power to achieve anything he went after.
Our lives can be no different. We can achieve anything we want too-but with right combination. Allah Taala first and being positive and self-confident. With these nothing is IMPOSSIBLE and remember even the word IMPOSSIBLE broken, read I’M POSSIBLE!
