Where the government is working Lillahil Azeem
Where above their own desires is Qur’anil Kareem
That’s the land, that’s the land, that’s the land of my dream.
Where the law of Allah, is the law that’s supreme.

Where the spring is forever, it’s the spring of Eeman,
Where the flowers are the words of the beautiful Qur’an.
Where the melodies are sweet, in the sound of Adhan.
That’s the land, that’s the land of Afghanistan.

Where Mujahideen are safe, from the pressures of the west.
They’re the best of the Ummah, they are treated as the best.
Where they care about Allah, only and nobody else.
That’s the land, that’s the land, that’s the land that is blessed.

Where the Prophet said will be, the supporters of Mahdi,
Where the banners black emerge, as has happened you can see,
Where we are supposed to go, now is anyone ready?
For the land, for the land, of the true Mahdi’s army.

Where every good is welcomed, to Allah they are grateful,
Appreciating blessings, the people are not wasteful,
Where cherished is their faith, and sins are very hateful,
That’s the land, that’s the land, where you can be very useful.

Where like the Prophet Muhammad, they sit on earthen floor,
No gold and silver plating, no carving on the door.
Where life is very simple, its simplicity does lure, That’s the land, that’s the land, where are blessings many more

Where no alcohol no drugs, and no rapists any more,
Where the women now are safe, and their honor is secure
Like buds that haven’t opened, in their cover they are pure.
That’s the land, that’s the land, where much good there is in store.

Where women now are wealthy, their wealth is their Islam
Their jewel is their modesty, their shyness is their charm.
Protected on the streets, and now safe from any harm.
In the land, in the land, in the land of Islam.

Where they welcome the restriction, really a benediction
It’s like a vaccination, for their good and their protection,
From problems it’s a shield, and from evils a deflection.
Where the medicine of God, will give treatment and prevention,
That’s the land, that’s the land, where to go we have intention.

Where you witness not the fitnah, no shamelessness around
Yet love is felt in everything, its meaning has been found
It’s felt in every grain of dust, it’s felt in every sound
It’s the purest love of Allah, the love that does abound.

In the land, in the land, in the land that I love.
Connected from this earth, it is to Paradise above.

O Mosque, O Mosque!

O Mosque, O Mosque, O sacred place,
O Mosque, O Mosque, center of grace.

Your minaret, from which light abounds,
Sends forth your meaningful sounds.

With a hundred counsels you invite us,
To hasten towards Allah’s forgiveness.

Hasten for the prayer-food of sages,
Time of ascension and flying through ages.

Hasten in my direction the prayer, the prayer,
The best work is prayer so honest and fair.

O Mosque, fair guide of the human race,
The sound from you is the sound of faith.

A tent of light on dark, dark land,
A cool canopy on hot, scorching sand.

Over our heads, you, kind neighbor,
Our citadel in times of danger.

Holy cradle of heart, soul and faith,
Of me and Allah, a meeting place.

Niqab : The beauty of Islam

She walks down the street

Fully covered
From head to toe
In the sun and the sleet
Not bothered by rude comments
From all and sundry

Her face is covered from view
And only revealed for the few
Her husband and other mehram
And not the rest of male society

She is blessed by her lord
With good looks and health
She praises him
And obeys his every command
Including the one to cover

She is neither western nor eastern
Rebellious or trying to fit in
She refuses to go with the flow
And treads a path that many choose not to follow

Some are completely westernised
Discarded their identity a long time ago

And now in sin they wallow
With the rest of society
Others go half way
Hijab with tight clothing
A bit of Islam and some of Kufr
They look silly
But they think they are trendy
And attractive

Others wear the proper jilbab
And refuse to compromise their identity
Neither following fashion nor the norms of society
But they still get attention that’s unwarranted

But some sisters prefer to wear the niqab
And hide completely
Into anonymity
Whilst interacting in society

See it as a guard against evil
And unwanted attention
From those who don’t lower their gaze
And eye up every woman regardless
